Posto features a full menu with antipasti, insalate, handmade pasta, grilled meats, fish and poultry, dolce and of course our Neapolitan wood fired pizza. The center piece of Posto is our Italian wood burning oven which allows us to cook pizza at temperatures in excess of 850 degrees. We import the finest “00” pizzeria flour and most flavorful San Marzano tomatoes from Italy and we use our own “Fiore di Latte” mozzarella cheese which is made fresh everyday. These ingredients combined with a slow fermentation of our dough yields a soft, chewy yet crisp thin crust that we believe is in the true spirit of classic Neapolitan pizza. We use local farmers and artisans whenever possible to create Neapolitan classics as well as exciting new ones of our own!
Posto also features an extensive wine by the glass program, over 50 select bottles, which are centered around Enzo, our imported Italian wine preservation system. Enzo allows us to pour rarer reserve wines by the glass that would otherwise be available only by bottle. This system allows you to taste many high end wines at a very affordable price. Posto’s beverage program is also complimented by a hand crafted cocktail list, homemade infusions as well as local and international beers.
Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana
The inspiration for our pizza at Posto comes from the Verace Pizza Napoletana. What does this mean? It means we at Posto are dedicated to the spirit of Neapolitan style pizza and we use the same ingredients and techniques as used in and around Naples. We make our dough, hand stretch every pizza and cook at the required high temperatures that only very special ovens can reach. This is done according to the guidelines of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. We are working hard at Posto to keep the spirit of this wonderful tradition alive.

Posto is conveniently located on Elm Street between Davis and Porter Squares in Somerville, Ma. We are also accessible by several bus lines. Check daily MBTA schedules.
Posto has a small parking lot and general metered spaces are available on Elm and Windom Streets as well as parking in nearby Davis Square municipal lots.
